So the weekend just ended and you’re STILL looking for more?! Don’t fret- there’s no shortage of fuzzy sounds tonight, especially with the likes of Future Teens and Mini Dresses in the house. Wear a poncho- these dudes will drown you in reverb and and leave you tugging melodies out of your ears for the next week. It’s like flirting with psych, then making out with dream pop and realizing your ex-lover saw the whole thing go down (you know what I’m talking about). Christopher Leaf brings full force melodic indie punk filled with driving guitars, while the jangles and melancholy vocals of Elephants are straight up infectious- both acts wouldn’t be out of place in a late 90’s post-harcore/emo family portrait. So to recap, as of right now your Monday night is looking like this: cheap beer, chill vibes, and killer music. What more could you ask for? Actually, don’t answer that- just get your ass out off the internet and check out this (fucking awesome) strictly local show!
