6/6 – What’s that dripping from the trees? Is it sap? Is it pollen? Is it the sticky sweetness from the sweet little pop show at the Elk’s Lodge? I don’t know. But I do know that big city sweethearts Frankie Cosmos and Porches are coming to town, and they are bringing with them a nice new bag of candy. Cross your legs and listen as Frankie Cosmos drizzles you with maple syrup along with some short, sugary pop tunes. Choke back tears and cotton candy as Porches powders you with his devotional ballads. Harmoos and Claire Cottrill kick off the show with a bit of the local flavor. Harmoos harnesses star sugar to play sad songs with reverb and harmonies. Clair Cottrill pops tiny little bubble gum bubbles in your face with her also short, also sweet acoustic tunes. It’s a night of toothaches. Go see your dentist!
