Currently, our Earth is undergoing its first human-driven mass extinction event. This event, known as the Sixth Extinction, is surmised to have begun around 100,000 years ago with the rise of Homo Sapiens as a dominant species. Through a series of 6 durational performances, artist Sara June explores several facets of the extinction phenomenon, including dwindling biodiversity, human-driven climate change, and collapse of ecosystems through meditations on 6 aphorisms, or pithy sayings, created by the artist.
Performances: 5/28-5/31, 1-7pm
