A show that will be sure to satisfy your need for fuzz at such a spooky time of the year, the Coach boys present another banger, this time at O’Brien’s Pub in Allston, MA. Come through to this show, and Rye Pines will get your night going just right. Their lyrics will spook you, and the riffs will all but overwhelm you, and then you’ll be body-slammed back down to earth by the all-powerful Dinoczar. They’re beefy as hell, and will throw you back to the 70’s (not in a phony kind of way, but just in a spirited and angsty version of Black Sabbath kind of way). After the storm hits, you’ll be momentarily lulled by the rich and flowing Radiohead-style ballads of Milk. Be sure to stick around though, because Left & Right is the touring band from Virginia, and they bring the noise. Very heavy, like a better sounding Fucked Up with soaring guitars, but with thick bass tone that keeps it all level, and an attitude for jaded fuzz rock that fits them perfectly on this show. WHO COULD FORGET, THE GREAT KAL MARKS WILL BE PLAYING AT THE END, and will definitely put a big fat period on the end of this show, a blistering conclusion you won’t want to miss. I don’t want to give it away, but there’s going to be a lot of noise, and it’s going to be loud, and it’s going to be all you never knew you were missing. Make sure to bring earplugs.
