Let’s be blunt: expectation is a bitch. We all have expectation when it comes to live music, and our enjoyment heavily depends on the condition that our expectations are met. Fear of disappointment combined with lack of time and an empty wallet mean that you will only see artists that you know, or coming to unknown ones with a blank face.
With that in mind, how about we tackle this problem with a show where neither the promoter and the audience has any expectation. Cheap Seat is the time where the stage is open for all artists of all forms of arts, from music to poem, puppetry to dance, performance art to harsh noise. It is the place where we are not expecting, only curious of what will be.
