Bostonhassle.com presents Public Access: RADICAL ACTS

Fri, Jun 7 2019 7:30 pm - 11:30 pm $10

Dorchester Art Project

Featuring Evan Greer, Aj Addae, John-Francis Quiñonez, Lin Pang and Lauren Klotzman!

On the eve of Boston’s Annual Pride Parade, the editors of bostonhassle.com bring you their first installment of public art curation and programming, Public Access, in RADICAL ACTS, an event series based around the diversity of perspective and experience at the intersection of art and culture in one of the cities premier alternative spaces, Dorchester Art Project.

Unlike past or recent Boston Hassle programming, these events are spearheaded by the new and queer as fuck editors Chris Hues, Emily Bass, & Sophie Lou. While constantly wearing their monocles to scope out the best art and culture of Boston onto the online magazine of bostonhassle.com, this event is an aggregation of years of, in Chris Hues’ words ‘working on the ground’ in queer circles in Boston, Cambridge, and the surrounding areas.

The purpose of this event is to keep queerness in our city continually open to interpretation and negotiation through art and showcasing diverse experience. In doing so we seek progressive spaces which are naturally free of harassment but are conversational and inspiring in the spirit of reclaiming social narratives away from mainstream . So please come and be a part of the conversation!
