But not just weird like strange and unorthodox but weird like awesome and engaging despite this world being an often mainstream-absorbed, boring, fucked-up place. Anyway.. the show.. OLIVIA NEUTRON-JOHN is the star tonight and thats because her light/dark synth jams are of the highest order. They are unique and catchy and she is a captivating performer to boot, booting your attitude into the future. She will set the stage (plywood platform) for local out-rock, never-know-what-they’re-gonna-do-next crew Every Kim Parcell, who will take you in many different directions with their enveloping-pushing compositions. Before ONJ starts will be the halfway point and you will have seen Wandcarver from Norfolk, VA go on a psychedelic trip before your eyes and at least your mind and ears will be invited to strap in and join, we suggest you give it a go. And local ghouls VOIDGOD kick it off with some brutally heavy black-metal inspired noise. OK so it’s not that weird for the BOW Shows crew but if at least being reminded of BIll Nye put a smile on your face then I have done my job here.
