2/24 [Gallery Talk] Everywhen: The Eternal Present in Indigenous Art from Australia 12:30pm FREE w/ Museum Admission

‘Everywhen’ is a word for Indigenous Australians which represents cyclical and circular order of the past. This exhibition showcases contemporary Indigenous artists from down undah from the past forty years, aiming to display the continuity between ancient and newer art forms. Some artists that can be seen in the show are Rover ThomasEmily Kam Kngwarray, and Judy Watson. The contemporary artists will be on view alongside pieces from Harvard’s collection of ancient Australian art. Join =, a visiting member of the curatorial team, from Australia for a gallery talk talk on February 10th and 24th, there will be an opening celebration on the 4th. This talk is free with museum admission, but has a limit of 15 attendees, so reserve tickets 10 minutes before the talk. Attendees are asked to meet in the Calderwood Courtyard, in front of the digital screens between the shop and the admissions desk.
