Some often spazzy underground rock right here. New England stylee, Portland Maine-ish specifically. Tunes on this record are short and not very sweet at all.  Like “Milk 2”. Love that beat. Vaguely reminiscent of the Halo Benders or something along those lines. Definitely PNW in the 90s/early 2000s vibes to some of this, but this buzzes with its own unique energy completely.

The band is Chris Gervais, Brock Ginther, and Anthony Bitetti. Kathryn Ginther joins the fun on track 6, “Hubert”. Another one of the stand out tracks here. Indie punk vibes in the best way. Some salt n’ vinegar on this french canadian adjacent fried potato.

Gervais has been very active up in the Portland area for a while now in booking and making music. Good to hear such great tunes coming from him and this gang. A real nice batch of scuzzy tunes for springtime.
