SUMMARY:Phantom Airwave - Interstellar Transmission Album Release
DESCRIPTION:Phantom Airwave is a genre blending\, home-brewed\, improvisational outfit hailing from Burlington Vermont. Their eclectic sound can be found somewhere in the crossing of deep space soul waves\, alien world disco funk raves\, and rock n’ roll. Phantom’s 6 member team is comprised of Erick Lattrell on keys\, synths\, and vocals\, Shawn Connolly on guitar and vocals\, Ben “Snake” Irish on saxophone and vocals\, on just bass they have Dan Jolly\, Glen Wallace on drums and vocals\, and the band’s very own lighting technician\, Anne “AL6” Lattrell. Over their seven year journey\, they have sought to be a band that focuses on compelling song writing aligned with live improvosation and a desire to explore the audio-sphere. Keep an eye out for their surprising changes and never ending supply of genres that will make you want to dance with joy\, rock out with friends\, and ride the airwave\, all paired with their beautifully timed light show. \nWhen they’re not traipsing through the galaxy in search of sonic anomalies and time paradoxes members of Phantom have been found sharing the stage with or opening for the likes of Goose\, Turkuaz\, Badfish\, Grace Potter\, Tauk\, Twiddle\, Swimmer\, Formula 5\, The McLovins\, The Macpodz\, as well as members of Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds\, Dopapod\, Snarky Puppy\, and many more. Members of Phantom Airwave have been or continue to be members of notable Vermont acts such as Grundle Funk\, Lazer Dad\, Invisible Homes\, The Red Newts\, The Rough Suspects\, What’s Good\, The Bumping Jones\, and more. \nApril 15th marks the release of Phantom’s own initial album\, aptly named Interstellar Transmission\, which can be subsequently heard live in its entirety as well as with many of Phantom’s other original material on April 16th at Art’s Riot in Burlington\, VT from 8-11 pm\, door 7pm.

Join me at Light of Day Records / Monumental Market for an intimate performance! I’ll play through the whole album live and throw in a few new songs as well. Masks and vax required. All ages. $10-20 sliding scale suggested donation includes a Spotify is Surveillance cassette tape. Plus a percentage of all record sales before/after the show will go to the artist!\nFYI there is NO accessible bathroom in the space. There are accessible bathrooms one block away at Curtis Hall.\nEvan Greer’s album Spotify is Surveillance was released on April 9\, 2021 on Get Better Records and Don Giovanni Records.
