The 6:30pm performance will be live streamed at TheSatanicTemple.TV. \n\n__ \nLydia Lunch\, Queen of No Wave\, Muse of The Cinema of Transgression has been touring in a variety of mediums since 1977. In 1982 she began performing and curating spoken word shows in NYC at The Pyramid\, The Knitting Factory\, The Kitchen\, The Performing Garage\, La Mama\, The Roxy Hotel and numerous other venues. She has appeared live with John Giorno\, Hubert Selby Jr\, Karen Finley\, Jerry Stahl\, Wanda Coleman\, Henry Rollins\, and Last Poet Umar Bin Hassan to name a few\, often arranging shows and booking tours throughout America\, Europe and Australia. She has presented workshops for writers throughout the USA and Europe\, where she continues to tour with both music and spoken word. She has collaborated with such musical luminaries as J.G. Thirlwell\, Rowland S. Howard\, Thurston Moore\, Omar Rodriguez – Lopez and many others. \nTim Dahl is a composer and professional electric and double bass player\, vocalist\, keyboardist and composer living in New York City. He is best known as the front man and bass player of the noise-rock band Child Abuse and the defunct avant-jazz group The Hub.He also writes and performs for the jazz ensemble Pulverize The Sound. Dahl has toured extensively throughout North America\, Europe and Japan and performed with many notable musicians\, composers and performers including Yusef Lateef\, Archie Shepp\, Eugene Chadbourne\, John Zorn\, Marc Ribot\, and Elliot Sharpe. \nIn addition to performing together\, Lydia and Tim co-host The Lydia Spin Podcast!

This project asks the question\, “What would the world look like if colonialism never existed\, and BIPOC were given the chance to truly blossom?” In our current climate\, being BIPOC can sometimes feel like we have to make ourselves smaller just to fit into a world that treats us less than equitably. \nBIPOC Artists of various mediums will explore the idea of an alternative future where we aren’t boxed in by the limitations of a post-colonial\, Euro-centric world. During his DJ gigs and podcasts\, he seamlessly mixes vintage obscurities and unreleased dubplates with tracks by himself as well as fellow jungle revivalists such as Dwarde and Kid Lib. Since making his debut in 2010\, he’s released dozens of EPs and singles on labels like Green Bay Wax\, Blu Mar Ten Music\, and 7th Storey Projects (home to the Simpsons-themed Globex Corp series).\nTim Reaper began producing tracks on FL Studio as a teenager; his debut release was “Propa Tings\,” co-produced by Relapse\, which was digitally released in 2010. His explosive remix of DJ Trace’s “Final Chapta” was issued on a white-label 12″ later in the year\, gaining much praise from junglists. Gradually stepping up his production game\, he became highly prolific around 2013\, collaborating with producers like Detroit’s Sinistarr and Sheffield’s Kid Lib (owner of Green Bay Wax) and issuing tracks on labels such as 117 Recordings and Criterion Records. In 2014\, he began regularly co-hosting mixes with Boston-based DJ and producer Dev/Null for his blog to the Oldskool site. As his computer started to fall apart in early 2015\, he released a digital album of previously unreleased tracks titled Need Money for Laptop. In 2016\, Reaper and Dwarde began releasing the Simpsons-inspired Globex Corp EP series on 7th Storey Projects. Blu Mar Ten released Reaper’s “All Right” single in 2017\, and the producer released additional work on labels including Amenology\, Foxy Jangle\, and Parallax Recording\, and Beyond Electronix.
