Everybody loves FREE PIZZA. In particular, we at Boston Hassle LOVE the band Free Pizza, as many of y’all do too. A little while back Mario, Marina and I met up with Free Pizza bandmates Nick Rasmussen (d,v) Santiago Cardenas (g,v) and Jesus Vio (b,lv) in their crib in JP to chat about their most recent album Boston MA, available on tape from BUFU Records and soon on wax from FEEDING TUBE Records.

We’re calling this audio-interview series “Behind The Scene” for the moment, but feel free to suggest to us (in person if you can) alternative names you like better. The idea here (Mario’s) is to produce something like that ‘Director’s Commentary’ track which you can enable on video-discs to hear the creators talking over the movie about what went on ‘behind the scenes’ during the filming, only here it’s about the songs on an album. You’ll hear the album playing straight through, and us talking about songs and stuff. Thanks fellas for being our debut band for this!
